PagerDuty is seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to join their customer-focused team in Atlanta. This role reports to a Director of Commercial Sales and focuses on acquiring new business opportunities within a group of accounts that fit PagerDuty's ideal customer profile. The ideal candidate will be skilled in prospecting, organizing, and closing deals.
Responsibilities: - Focus on highlighting the unique value and benefit PagerDuty products and services provide to customers.
- Understand stakeholder problems and communicate how PagerDuty will support and address company priorities.
- Employ solution selling/customer-centric sales methods.
- Establish and maintain genuine connections with customers.
- Develop a proactive point of view on solutions based on customer's biggest pain points.
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction in all interactions.
- Ensure work and information are complete and accurate.
- Prospect by calling and emailing executives, documenting key qualification details.
- Close and manage land-and-expand deals, focusing on acquiring new customers.
- Prioritize opportunities and allocate appropriate resources.
Requirements: - 1-2+ years strong background in lead generation and prospecting.
- 1+ year experience with common SaaS software tools (SFDC, Outreach / Salesloft, Tableau, DemandBase / 6Sense).
- Proven ability to quickly gain trust with senior leaders.
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-up skills.
- Passion for cloud technologies.
