Job Description
PagerDuty is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to join their team in Sydney. This role involves driving new business and supporting key strategic accounts by identifying customer challenges and offering solutions. The Strategic Account Executive will engage with individuals at various levels within organizations, including individual contributors, mid-level management, and C-suite executives, to drive their digital transformation strategy with leading enterprise customers.
Role Involves:
- Leading a cross-functional account team.
- Identifying challenges in customers' environments.
- Generating revenue by selling and cultivating client relationships.
- Establishing executive alignments and fostering broad relationships.
- Navigating a hybrid business approach.
- Prioritizing opportunities and coordinating with the internal team.
- Exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas.
- Utilizing sales methodology and processes.
- Committing to pipeline generation and conducting account research.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of outside software sales experience.
- 5 years of experience selling at Strategic and/or Enterprise in a multi-product, complex software environment (SaaS, IT infrastructure or similar industries preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and build pipeline independently.
- Track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience leading large and complex sales cycles within Global 2000 Enterprises.
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
