Job Description
Niantic is seeking a Producer for its Tokyo game development team to work on a new geolocation-based mobile game featuring a globally recognized Japanese IP. The Producer will collaborate with internal Niantic teams and external partners to drive execution, align stakeholders, and ensure smooth project progression. This role offers the opportunity to contribute from an early development stage.Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day production and scheduling.
  • Translate creative vision into actionable milestones.
  • Align with IP holders and partner organizations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams.
  • Identify risks and remove roadblocks.
  • Plan and run development sprints.
  • Champion a player-centric development process.
  • Maintain clear communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in mobile game development.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Native-level Japanese and strong business-level English.
  • Interest in geolocation-based games.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams.
Niantic offers:
