QA Backend Automation Engineer

Betsson Group is seeking a QA Backend Automation Engineer to join their Engagement Area team. This role focuses on ensuring customer loyalty through a world-class customer experience. The ideal candidate will develop a deep understanding of the product, identify weaknesses, and enhance testing effectiveness. They will be an integral part of a Scrum team, designing and developing automated tests using industry-standard tools. The engineer will also play an active role in requirement definition, promote a quality mindset, and implement test automation frameworks.

What this role involves:

• Developing a deep knowledge of the product.

Requirements:

• Experience with at least one Object-Oriented Programming language, preferably C# as well as Javascript and Typescript.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with testing these APIs.
• Proficiency in using test automation libraries like Playwright and Cypress, as well as frameworks like Jest and Mocha.
• Experience with non-functional testing using tools like K6 or JMeter.
• Experience working in Agile teams with a shift-left mentality in testing.
• Good understanding of software testing processes and techniques.
