Application Engineer (all genders)

Job Description

GROPYUS is seeking an Application Engineer to join their Corporate IT team. This role involves evaluating, implementing, integrating, and managing mid-size to enterprise 3rd party applications for the GROPYUS group. The Application Engineer will be responsible for project planning and rollout for the technical implementation into the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. They will own applications from a technical perspective, provide the best user experience, and optimize usability. The ideal candidate will create, review, and control application-specific concepts and policies, as well as design and implement processes and procedures to manage and operate 3rd party applications.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, implement, integrate and manage 3rd party applications
• Project planning and rollout for technical implementation
• Own applications from a technical perspective
• Create, review and control application specific concepts and policies
• Design and implement processes and procedures to manage and operate 3rd party applications

Requirements:

• Experience supporting midsize to enterprise 3rd party applications
• Strong technical understanding of IT architecture and APIs
• Ability to capture functional and technical requirements
• Project Management skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to create SLAs
• Effective communication skills in English; German proficiency is a plus
