Job Description
Garner Health is seeking a Senior Account Manager to oversee clients in the large market (5000+ lives) book of business. This role focuses on relationship management, understanding client needs, and day-to-day client management. As the primary point of contact for key client stakeholders and brokers, the Senior Account Manager ensures the overall success and retention of clients within this market segment. The Senior Account Manager will work closely with the Strategic Accounts team and cross-functional areas to drive Garner’s mission forward. This role reports to the Director of Account Management (Jumbo Market).

What this role involves:
  • Ensuring that Garner delivers an excellent client experience to the assigned book of business
  • Executing key workflows and monitoring client health to support our clients
  • Tracking client success KPIs, escalating areas of concern and mitigating risks through development and execution of action plans
  • Executing best practice standards and workflows to improve client satisfaction, engagement, and ROI to drive retention
  • Managing strong day to day broker and client relationships
  • Communicating regularly with both key decision makers as well as our key broker partners to understand the ongoing needs
  • Collaborating with product, sales, and member services teams to ensure that client’s engagement goals are met and client is satisfied with Garner’s service
  • Developing client reports, meeting materials, and workshops as needed
  • Travel up to 15% of the time

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience managing and growing a high-performing B2B book of business and delivering impactful results year over year in the healthcare and benefits industry
  • Demonstrated experience supporting clients to increase engagement and maximize the value of a SaaS solution
  • Passion for delivering an excellent client experience and striving to deliver high-quality work
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate a vision or strategy and inspire adoption and change
  • Excellent presentation skills and executive presence
  • The ability to work in an ambiguous, rapidly evolving, and fast-paced startup environment with notable upside
  • A self-starter mentality; taking ownership and driving execution of key initiatives to serve the client and the business
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and brokers in the health and welfare space
  • A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the healthcare system
