Job Description
Nabis, the #1 Licensed Cannabis Wholesale Platform, is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to join their Finance Team. This role involves financial modeling, analyzing M&A and investment opportunities, and serving as a thought partner to leadership. The Strategic Finance Manager will manage a team, optimize financial processes, and leverage automation and AI-driven tools. This is a unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a rapidly growing company in a high-growth industry.

The Role Involves:
  • Leading the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly reporting.
  • Managing and developing a team of finance analysts/associates.
  • Building and presenting executive-ready models and dashboards.
  • Working closely with leaders across various departments to align financial planning with company objectives.
  • Designing and implementing workflows using AI tools to streamline reporting.
  • Developing models to evaluate key initiatives, investments, and M&A.
  • Building and maintaining dynamic financial models for board-level decision-making.
  • Providing analytical support for fundraising activities and strategic partnerships.
  • Driving continuous improvement in finance processes and stakeholder reporting infrastructure.

Requirements:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, or a related strategic finance role.
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring analysts.
  • Exceptional modeling skills in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation tools.
  • Comfortable analyzing large data sets; SQL proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math, or a related quantitative field.
  • Self-starter mentality and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
