Job Description
Palmetto is seeking a Capital Markets Analyst/Senior Analyst to join their Finance team. This role involves capital markets activities, including capital raising, execution, and modeling. The ideal candidate will develop and execute financial models, lead funding processes, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Palmetto is experiencing rapid growth and is committed to providing renewable energy options to homeowners.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and executing Excel financial models for Tax Equity and Debt capital funding.
  • Leading the execution of tax equity, debt, and equity funding processes with external stakeholders.
  • Managing reporting to key financial stakeholders and partnering with technology teams for automation.
  • Enhancing existing processes and workflows for efficiency.
  • Liaising with Corporate Finance, Treasury, Asset Management, and Accounting.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key banks and external partners.
  • Understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.

Requirements include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s or MBA a plus).
  • 1-3+ years of experience in banking or capital markets (solar industry experience preferred).
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Proactive identification of improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
