Payroll Specialist Lead - Australia

Job Description

Remote is seeking a Payroll Specialist Lead to join their Global Payroll Operations Team. This role is fully remote and based in Australia. The Payroll Specialist Lead will be a subject matter expert for Australia, managing end-to-end payroll processing, statutory filing requirements, and compliance. They will also maintain relationships with stakeholders, focus on KPIs and SLAs, implement process improvements, and mentor payroll specialists.What this role involves:

• Managing end-to-end payroll processing in-house.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory filing requirements.
• Maintaining data integrity and quality.
• Performing accounting and reconciliations.
• Focusing on KPIs and SLAs.
• Implementing and improving processes.
• Mentoring and supporting payroll specialists.

• In-house payroll management or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of payroll best practices.
• Proficiency in software tools like SAP, Excel / Google Sheet.
• An analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
