Job Description
The Head of Non-Financial Risk Audit role is within the Internal Audit department at OKX, reporting to the Head of Corporate Risk and Finance. This is a new position focused on building a strong internal audit function. The role involves leading global audit projects related to non-financial risks across various jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will partner with stakeholders in business and risk management to promote intelligent risk assessment and mitigation, through improving the control framework.

What this role involves:
  • Leading the execution of global audit projects covering non-financial risks.
  • Delivering timely and quality audit reviews with value-add findings.
  • Managing daily audit work, including resource allocation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to promote intelligent risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Managing a small team of audit professionals.
  • Contributing to the annual audit plan calibration process.
  • Assisting in providing holistic coverage over non-financial and emerging risks.

Requirements:
  • 13+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Substantial experience in financial services and/or risk management, including audit coverage of ERM and operational risk.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written).
  • Proactive and goal-oriented strategic thinker.
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills.
  • Solid understanding of relevant banking regulations.
  • Experience in leading complex projects and supervising team members.
  • Aptitude for Technology and understanding of data governing principles.
  • Track record of empowering others to grow and prosper.
