Job Description
OKX is seeking a Head of Business Intelligence to lead its BI function. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data strategies, analytics frameworks, and performance monitoring systems to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of the crypto market, market localization and expansion, and business intelligence tools.
What this role involves:
- Define and implement a comprehensive BI strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Lead the BI team in building scalable data architectures and reporting systems.
- Develop dashboards and north star metrics to guide strategic direction and track business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate actionable insights.
- Oversee data governance, quality assurance, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Leverage AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to develop new sales leads, understand marketing trends, generate user insights, enhance risk management strategies, and identify market trends.
- Present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing BI team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a globally recognized, top-tier university.
- 8+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong self-learning capability, ownership mindset, and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
- Proven experience in the crypto, finance, or internet industry.
- Strong grasp of blockchain analytics, on-chain data, and crypto market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in local market expansion and growth execution.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and navigate complex stakeholder needs.
- Experience with large-scale data infrastructure and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in BI tools and programming languages.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
