Job Description
OKX, a leading crypto exchange, is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage financial operations related to digital assets in their Bahamas office. This role is crucial for financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement within a fast-paced environment. The Senior Accountant will work with both fiat and crypto transactions, ensuring accurate financial records and adherence to accounting standards.

What This Role Involves:
  • Maintaining accurate financial records for fiat and crypto transactions.
  • Contributing to the development of finance and accounting policies.
  • Reconciling accounts, including crypto wallets.
  • Applying accounting standards (IFRS) to business transactions.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements for audits and regulatory reporting.
  • Assisting with the local OKX Bahamas financial statements audit.
  • Developing effective and automated processes for financial reporting and analytics.
  • Assisting in navigating the regulatory landscape in the Bahamas.

Requirements:
  • BS or BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services, payments, fintech, or crypto industries.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS) and tax regulations.
  • Understanding of cost management and AP processes.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and articulate outcomes to management.
  • Self-starting problem solver.
