Job Description
ShipMonk, a leading 3PL provider, is seeking a Senior Manager to spearhead strategic projects and value-added services (VAS). This role involves leading initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and supply chain strategy. The Senior Manager will collaborate with senior executives, translate business needs into technical requirements, and drive innovation in reverse logistics and VAS processes. They will also leverage data analytics to enhance project visibility and performance tracking.
Role Involves:
- Leading strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment with company priorities.
- Collaborating with senior executives to shape SP and VAS strategies.
- Translating business needs into technical requirements for developers.
- Driving improvements in reverse logistics and value-added services processes.
- Building and presenting ROI analyses for proposed and active projects.
- Leveraging advanced analytics and digital tools for project visibility.
- Mentoring and guiding diverse project teams.
- Contributing to proposal writing and opportunity analysis.
- Addressing enterprise-wide logistics challenges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Process Management, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- 7+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects in logistics, operations, supply chain, or value-added services environments.
- Proven track record of launching and leading multiple types of projects.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in building ROI and cost-benefit analyses.
- Comfortable interfacing with executive leadership and technology teams.
- Experience in companies that manage returns and value-added service flows (preferred).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel 50%–75% of the time.
