Guidepost Montessori in San Rafael, CA, is seeking a Lead Children's House Guide to empower 3 to 6-year-olds. The Lead Guide will support a mixed-age class in a Montessori environment, preparing an environment that fosters independence and captivates a child’s interest. They will provide personalized support, working with children individually and in small groups, demonstrating how to use materials, and giving precise language to understand their experiences.Guidepost Montessori equips every classroom with high-quality Montessori materials and a budget for personalization. The classroom is set up according to Montessori principles of beauty and order, enabling children to learn, concentrate, and achieve independence.Role Involves:

• Observing each child to understand their needs.
• Preparing an orderly environment.
• Cultivating independence.
• Providing individual and small-group lessons.
• Forming personal connections and cultivating a community of respect.
• Communicating and collaborating with parents.

Ideal Candidate Has:

• Montessori diploma or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience working with children ages 3-6.
• Familiarity with child-led philosophies.
• 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) credits.
• Bachelor’s Degree (ECE or Child Development).
