Job Description
Guidepost Montessori School in South Beaverton is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Guide (Teacher) to support a mixed-age class of preschool children in a Montessori environment. The Lead Guide will empower 3 to 6-year-olds to gain independence, self-confidence, and a love of learning.

Role Involves:
  • Observing each child to understand their needs.
  • Preparing an orderly environment.
  • Cultivating independence and self-confidence.
  • Providing individual and small-group lessons.
  • Forming personal connections with each child.
  • Communicating and collaborating with parents.

Ideal Candidate Has:
  • Obtained or is willing to obtain a Montessori diploma for 3-6.
  • Experience working with children ages 3-6 in a group setting.
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies.
  • Is registered in the Oregon Central Background Registry.
  • Has completed the Safety Set training through the Oregon Department of Early Education.
  • Has a current CPR/First Aid certificate.
