Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge luxury electric vehicles. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and testing software solutions for seamless communication among vehicle components, ECUs, and cloud services. The engineer will also be responsible for internal communication, ensuring efficient distribution of network traffic and reliable transport of outgoing traffic.Responsibilities:
  • Designing, implementing, and testing software solutions for vehicle communication.
  • Debugging and fixing issues.
  • Optimizing system performance.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ programming.
  • Experience in QNX and/or Linux based system development.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with software development in a team environment.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with AUTOSAR platforms and tools.
  • Experience with Android and Android HAL layers (Android 10+).
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Understanding of Automotive communication protocols (Vehicle Signal, CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Good understanding of OOAD and UML concepts.
  • Familiarity with Google unit Test framework.
  • Real time debugging on hardware and software debugging skills.
  • Experience with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Bazel, Agile).
