Guidepost Montessori School in Kent, WA is seeking a Lead Children's House Guide to empower 3 to 6-year-olds. The Lead Guide will support a mixed-age class of preschool children in a Montessori environment.Role involves:

• Observing each child to understand their needs.
• Preparing an orderly environment.
• Cultivating independence and self-confidence.
• Providing individual and small-group lessons.
• Forming personal connections with each child.
• Communicating with parents.

An ideal candidate:

• Has or is willing to obtain a Montessori diploma for 3-6.
• Has experience working with children ages 3-6.
• Is familiar with child-led philosophies.
• Has 12 ECE or Child Development credits.
• Has earned a Bachelor’s Degree (ECE or Child Development).
