Job Description
Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Infant Teacher for their school in Mill Valley, CA. This role offers the opportunity to nurture infants in an environment designed for growth and independence. The Lead Guide will support a mixed-age class of infant-age children in a Montessori environment, preparing the environment, fostering independence, and providing personalized support to each child.
Role Involves:
- Observing each child to understand their needs.
- Preparing an orderly environment that fosters trust and exploration.
- Cultivating independence and self-confidence.
- Forming personal connections with each child.
- Communicating and collaborating with parents.
Requirements:
- Interest in pursuing certified Montessori training or previous Montessori diploma.
- Experience working with children ages 0-3 in a group setting.
- Familiarity with child-led philosophies or openness to learning more.
- 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits.
- Earned a Bachelor’s Degree (ECE or Child Development).
