Lead Infant Teacher

Guidepost Montessori in Duluth, Georgia is seeking a Lead Infant Teacher. The Lead Guide will support a mixed-age class of infant age children in a Montessori environment. The role involves preparing an environment that fosters independence and captivates a child’s interest, providing personalized support, and working with children individually and in small groups.

• Observing each child to understand their needs
• Following the natural rhythms of sleeping, eating, and toileting
• Preparing an orderly environment that fosters trust and independence
• Cultivating independence and self-confidence
• Forming personal connections with each child
• Communicating and collaborating with parents

An ideal candidate:

• Is interested in pursuing certified Montessori training or has a Montessori diploma
• Has experience working with children ages 0-3 in a group setting
• Is familiar with child-led philosophies or open to learning more
