Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Infant Teacher for their Prosperity school in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Lead Guide will support a mixed-age class of infant age children in a Montessori environment. The role involves preparing an environment that fosters independence and captivates a child’s interest, providing personalized support, and working with children individually and in small groups.Guidepost Montessori is looking for someone who will bring their best to support every child in reaching their highest potential.Responsibilities:

• Observing each child to understand their needs.
• Preparing an orderly environment that fosters trust and independence.
• Cultivating independence and self-confidence.
• Forming personal connections with each child.
• Communicating and collaborating with parents.

Requirements:

• Interest in pursuing certified Montessori training or previous Montessori diploma.
• Experience working with children ages 0-3 in a group setting.
• Familiarity with child-led philosophies or open to learning more.
