Guidepost Montessori in Emeryville, CA is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher to nurture toddlers in an environment designed for growth and independence. The Lead Guide will support a mixed-age class of toddler-age children in a Montessori environment, fostering independence and captivating children's interests. They will provide personalized support, working individually and in small groups, demonstrating materials, and using precise language.

Role Involves:
  • Observing each child to understand their needs.
  • Preparing an orderly environment that fosters trust and independence.
  • Cultivating independence and self-confidence.
  • Providing lessons to encourage practical life skills and language.

Requirements:
  • Interest in pursuing certified Montessori training or prior Montessori diploma.
  • Experience working with children ages 0-3 in a group setting.
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies or openness to learning.
  • 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits.
  • Earned a Bachelor’s Degree (ECE or Child Development).
