Guidepost Montessori in Kent, WA is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher to nurture toddlers in an environment designed for growth and independence. The Lead Guide will support a mixed-age class of toddler children in a Montessori environment.Role involves:
  • Observing each child to understand their needs.
  • Preparing an orderly environment that fosters trust and independence.
  • Cultivating independence and self-confidence.
  • Providing lessons to encourage practical life skills and language.
  • Forming personal connections with each child and cultivating a community of respect.
  • Communicating and collaborating respectfully with parents.
Ideal candidate has:
  • Interest in pursuing Montessori training or prior Montessori diploma.
  • Experience working with children ages 0-3 in a group setting.
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies.
  • 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits.
  • Earned a Bachelor’s Degree (child related field).
