Guidepost Montessori in Lynnwood, WA, is seeking a passionate Lead Toddler Teacher. This role offers the opportunity to nurture toddlers in a thoughtfully designed environment that promotes growth, exploration, and independence.Guidepost Montessori is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Guide (Teacher) to support a mixed-age class of toddler-age children in a Montessori environment. In this role, the teacher will prepare the environment, foster independence, and provide personalized support to each child.Role Involves:

• Observing each child to understand their needs.
• Preparing an orderly environment that fosters trust and independence.
• Cultivating independence and self-confidence.
• Providing lessons to encourage practical life skills, language, and grace and courtesy.
• Forming personal connections with each child and cultivating a community of respect.
• Communicating and collaborating respectfully with parents.

Requirements:

• Interest in pursuing certified Montessori training or previous Montessori diploma.
• Experience working with children ages 0-3 in a group setting.
• Familiarity with child-led philosophies or openness to learning more.
• 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a child-related field (preferred).
