Job Description

Fortra is seeking a Product Test Engineer I to join their team in Armenia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing Fortra's software products, ensuring their quality and reliability. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for identifying and resolving software defects.

What this role involves:

  • Plan and implement testing for assigned Story/Enhancement changes
  • Reproduce found issues within the assigned software
  • Provide clear defect and problem reports
  • Track testing progress in project and test tracking tools
  • Participate in product design reviews to learn about new functionality

Requirements:

  • Minimum experience of 1 year
  • Basic knowledge for assigned HS product
  • Good I.T. knowledge for product’s platform (Windows, IBM i, Linux, SQL, etc)
  • Good knowledge of a major scripting/programming language on the product’s platform
  • Good knowledge of exploratory testing. Learning level of non-functional test techniques.
  • Good knowledge of test automation main principles and tools
