Job Description
GoCardless is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their new Lisbon hub. This role offers a unique opportunity to be a founding employee and contribute to the company's growth. The Finance Analyst will be responsible for reporting and analyzing headcount and other key metrics, providing insights to support informed decision-making. This position involves business partnering with senior stakeholders globally and offers significant impact on the success of the Lisbon hub and the wider GoCardless organization.

Role Involves:
  • Reporting and analysis of headcount and company growth.
  • Compiling headcount data weekly and reporting on new hires, leavers, vacancies, and total headcount.
  • Calculating the fully loaded cost per person.
  • Updating and maintaining ownership of the headcount model and budget each month.
  • Assisting with and preparing presentations and financial analyses.
  • Working on various ad-hoc projects.

Requirements:
  • Excellent Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookup, etc.).
  • Financial analysis experience.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite or similar accounting packages.
  • Professional and articulate communication skills.
  • Highly numerate with strong attention to detail.
  • Great communication (C1 English) and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in the FinTech industry.
