Job Description
GoCardless is seeking a Global Payments Partnerships Senior Lead for a 12-month FTC to manage European partner relationships. This role involves working closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations teams. The candidate will report to the Director, Global Payment Partnerships. GoCardless is a global bank payment company that processes US$130bn+ of payments annually, across 30+ countries.
Responsibilities: - Managing supplier relationships with European banking partners.
- Negotiating pricing, processing limits, and contract terms.
- Completing annual due diligence reviews with banking partners.
- Serving as the internal and external SEPA payments subject matter expert.
- Understanding customer pain points and proactively removing friction.
- Producing internal content and guides to enhance company knowledge.
- Working on cross-functional projects related to the SEPA product.
- Developing new solutions to old problems with partners and scheme providers.
Requirements: - Experience managing payment partners.
- Project management skills with a track record of delivering against deadlines.
- Networking abilities to build an industry presence.
- Resilience and persistence in dealing with partners and industry providers.
- Experience negotiating pricing and contracts.
- Understanding of partner due diligence processes.
- Knowledge of the payments landscape at a macro level.
- Strong research skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written skills for creating training and education materials.
- Ability to understand and articulate technical solutions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written in French.
