Job Description

Jobber is seeking a Staff Product Designer, Growth, to join their team. This is a remote-first role based in Canada. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving Jobber’s next phase of growth, focusing on customer acquisition, product adoption, and customer retention.

As a Staff Product Designer, the individual will turn conceptual ideas into meaningful user experiences, driving both UI & UX for key initiatives. They will collaborate with other designers, content designers, and design systems members to achieve success. The role involves shaping the vision for Growth and ensuring a high bar for new customer success through UX.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver creative solutions that drive new customer adoption.
  • Lead and contribute to UX strategy in partnership with Product Owners.
  • Understand users through qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Shape and build scalable design patterns through customer research, wireframes, and interface designs.
  • Set a design vision for the team and stakeholders.
  • Leverage AI to inform and create personalized experiences.
  • Ensure the Growth team delivers a high-quality user experience.
  • Mentor and provide feedback to other designers at Jobber.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional design experience in a team setting.
  • Experience with web or mobile SaaS products in a Growth-related focus.
  • Experience with e-commerce and/or checkout and payment flows.
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Mastery of design tools (Figma, Figjam, ChatGPT, etc.).
  • Expert visual and interaction design experience.
  • Deep understanding of strategic direction and vision.
  • Experience leveraging LLM or other AI-based technologies.
  • Expert collaboration and communication skills.
