Job Description

CVX Ventures is seeking a Group CEO to spearhead its expansion across existing and new European markets. This role involves leading the mission to establish Europe's largest angel investor network, connecting capital with competence to foster extraordinary companies. The Group CEO will shape the company's vision, execute strategies, and build and inspire teams across borders. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring someone ready to relocate temporarily as new markets open.CVX Ventures is experiencing rapid growth as a venture investor in Europe, empowering partners to invest in carefully selected opportunities. Since 2020, the community has grown to over 700 members, collectively investing over DKK 800 million into more than 100 companies. The company currently consists of 20 ambitious individuals across Copenhagen, London, and Oslo.Role Involves:

• Leading growth and execution across all CVX markets.
• Building, managing, and inspiring high-performing local teams.
• Owning the global strategy, from market entry to operational excellence.
• Leading the expansion of the angel investor network.
• Representing CVX publicly at events and in media.
• Involvement in deal flow, investment decisions, and startup ecosystem engagement.
• Driving culture, excellence, and performance.
• Reporting directly to the Board.

Requirements:

• +5 years of experience building and leading a business.
• Strong leadership skills with humility to learn and grow.
• Willingness to relocate temporarily.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in top-tier consulting, investment banking, or high-growth startups.
• Passion for startups, investing, and building ecosystems.
• Driven and ambitious with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
• Strong sales mindset.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
