Senior Product Manager, Search

Elastic is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their Search team. This role focuses on defining the future of search at Elastic, building features and products that enable customers to create AI-powered search experiences. The Senior Product Manager will work with software engineers, platform, and design teams to define product features, prioritize the product roadmap, and gather market data and customer feedback.

What this role involves:

• Defining product features and initiatives for a new conversational and agentic AI search experience.
• Representing the complete set of personas that use the product.
• Prioritizing the components of the product roadmap.
• Gathering market data, customer feedback, and customer usage data.
• Meeting with existing and prospective customers.
• Assisting with Product Marketing efforts.
• Analyzing and addressing competitive dynamics within the product category.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience launching and building a search or AI application.
• Proven experience in Product Management, preferably in an enterprise-focused product environment.
• Startup-mentality and experience appreciated.
• Outstanding spoken and written communication and storytelling skills.
• Working knowledge of SaaS and/or IaaS product domains.
• Empathy for the challenges of builders & operators.
• A marked interest in new market-defining technologies such as RAG and LLMs is highly regarded.
