Job Description
Xometry is seeking a Case Manager Lead to manage a team of Case Managers responsible for resolving supply chain issues related to customized parts. The Case Manager Lead will ensure the team delivers exceptional service, drives efficiency, and maintains strong relationships with customers and partners.Responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Case Managers.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the team improves on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Tracking order progress and providing timely updates.
- Driving team performance to meet KPIs.
- Resolving complex supply chain challenges.
- Applying technical knowledge of manufacturing design and production.
- Ensuring supplier oversight and managing customer complaints.
- Reporting on order status and risks.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Collaborating with other departments.
- Monitoring supplier quality metrics.
- Communicating with stakeholders.
- Participating in initiatives to simplify processes.
- Ensuring compliance with Xometry's quality and safety systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, project management, or customer service, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering drawing requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in documenting case activity.
- Experience leveraging company technology platforms and complying with Quality Management Systems.
