Job Description
Georgian Dental Orillia is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to act as a vital link between the clinical team and patients. The Patient Care Coordinator will help patients navigate their treatment plans, financial options, and scheduling, ensuring they receive the care they need and have a positive experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and build rapport with patients.
  • Discuss and explain proposed treatment plans.
  • Provide accurate estimates of treatment costs and discuss financial options.
  • Assist patients in scheduling and coordinating appointments.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers to verify coverage and process claims.
  • Maintain organized patient records and treatment plans.
  • Follow up with patients to answer questions and provide support.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and the clinical team.
  • Keep current on treatment options, insurance policies, and industry trends.
  • Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or relevant training preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • At least 2 years experience in a dental administrative role is a must.
  • Familiarity with dental billing, insurance, and scheduling procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and patient-focused environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
