Job Description
Halcyon is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to contribute to strategic research initiatives and enhance its anti-ransomware solution. The ideal candidate will analyze ransomware samples and threat actor tools to inform product features and validate capabilities. This is a remote-native position within a distributed global team.
Role involves:
- Endpoint Hardening & Testing
- Vulnerability Research & Triage
- Platform Expertise
Requirements:
- 5+ years in product security or endpoint-focused consulting
- Hands-on testing of Windows-based agents or EDR/AV products
- Experience building fuzzers or integrating existing fuzzing frameworks for native code
- Experience building automated test harnesses from the ground up
- Strong Windows OS internals knowledge
- Proficient in C/C++ and Python
- Experience reviewing and validating security findings
- Comfortable researching and suggesting security features end-to-end
