Ernest, a company committed to the success of its extended family, is seeking a Client Automation Specialist (Field Service Technician) for its LA division in Commerce, CA. This role involves servicing LA County, Orange County, and the Inland Empire. The Field Equipment Technician will be responsible for the care and service of equipment sold to Ernest clients. He will work closely with sales reps and customers, providing equipment expertise, facilitating installations, and providing warranty service. He will also train customers on equipment operation, maintain and repair equipment, and ensure correct billing. The ideal candidate will promote Preventative Maintenance Programs and manage parts inventory.
Responsibilities: - Provide equipment and machinery product knowledge expertise
- Facilitate and oversee installations and start-ups of newly sold equipment
- Provide warrantee service on equipment sold
- Train EPS customers on the care and operation of equipment
- Maintain, modify, and repair equipment
- Ensure that billing for services is administered correctly when appropriate
Requirements: - Excellent customer/communication skills
- Technical proficiency (Mechanical and Electrical)
- Ability to prioritize work with little direction
- Ability to identify and resolve customer problems
- Electrical and mechanical experience
- Ability to read equipment and electrical schematics/drawings
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving history
