Job Description
BVNK, a company providing payment infrastructure for businesses, is seeking a Treasury Analyst in Cape Town. The role involves assisting the Treasury team with Net Asset Value reporting, liquidity movements, and cash flow management. The Treasury Analyst will also manage offline liquidity providers, ensure counterparty risk management, and assist with daily safeguarding reconciliation. They will monitor internal wallet balances, review statements, and maintain relationships with partner financial institutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with Net Asset Value reporting and assessments
- Managing liquidity movements and cash flow
- Managing offline liquidity providers and exchanges
- Ensuring counterparty risk management
- Assisting with safeguarding reconciliation
- Treasury reporting, dashboards, and data analysis
- Monitoring internal wallet balances and reconciliations
- Reviewing statements and providing advice on business finance
- Completing client and corporate funds reconciliations
- Investigating reconciliation breaks or discrepancies
- Automating asset and liability reporting
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in a relevant field
- Crypto and blockchain experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of how to communicate workflows
- BCom/Busci degree in finance, financial risk management, or related field
- Financial reporting experience and strong analysis skills
