Job Description

Verkada is seeking a Customer Marketing Manager to join their growth team. The Customer Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving deeper customer relationships by introducing Verkada's suite of products to existing customers. The goal is to drive pipeline generation and bookings by cross-selling the Verkada platform to existing customers within the North American market. This role involves building and optimizing the customer journey to maximize customer lifetime value (LTV).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize customer LTV through email marketing, paid advertising, direct mail, events, and in-platform messaging/notifications.
  • Own the data strategy for audience segmentation and identify opportunities within Verkada’s customer base.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of marketing campaigns, from planning to execution to performance analysis.
  • Work closely with account executives to define a joint approach to upsell/cross-sell key customer accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across data science, marketing operations, and product marketing.
  • Track and analyze key campaign metrics and communicate insights across departments.
  • Leverage Excel and SQL to dig into campaign performance and identify areas of improvement.

Requirements:

  • 4-7+ years of experience in B2B marketing.
  • Experience in designing and executing lifecycle marketing campaigns.
  • Proven ability to identify cross-sell opportunities by analyzing customer behavior and product usage data.
  • Experience in creating customer-focused content and campaigns.
  • Expertise in building scalable systems and automation to support cross-sell marketing efforts.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, data management, and segmentation.
  • Background in investment banking, quantitative consulting, strategy, or analytics is a plus.
