Monzo is seeking a commercially sharp and people-first Senior Compensation Manager to shape the future of reward at the company. This role is at the heart of building a reward experience that’s fair, progressive, and built to scale. The Senior Compensation Manager will lead high-impact, cross-company activity, from benchmarking and pay reviews, to evolving frameworks for progression, levelling, and compliance.This role involves:
- Leading the annual pay review, including stakeholder management.
- Leading salary and overall compensation benchmarking.
- Maintaining and developing Monzo’s pay frameworks and job levelling.
- Owning compensation reporting, MI, and analytics.
- Working alongside Payroll and People Ops teams to improve reward processes.
- Serving as the main point of contact for compensation-related questions.
- Enhancing the use of systems within the team.
- Supporting the VP of Reward and wider Reward team.
Monzo is looking for someone who has:
- Deep experience of UK and global compensation within fast-paced technology companies.
- Experience leading the creation or evolvement of a Compensation Philosophy.
- Experience leading annual pay review cycles end to end.
- Experience leading the annual benchmarking process.
- Responsibility for compensation statutory reporting requirements.
