A manufacturing company is seeking a Parts Associate to manage parts inventory and distribution in Mississauga, Ontario. The Parts Associate will report to the Parts Manager/Production Supervisor and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of parts and materials to support production goals. This role involves a blend of inventory management, parts distribution, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Quote, order, receive, organize, and store incoming parts and materials.
- Track inventory levels and perform regular stock checks.
- Deliver parts to production lines, operating vehicles and forklifts.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing parts.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure proper storage of hazardous materials.
- Collaborate with teams to address parts shortages and report inventory discrepancies.
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of a G2 Driver’s License (valid in Ontario).
- Clean driver’s abstract and criminal background check.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Ability to commute to Mississauga, Ontario.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
