Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking a Parts Associate to manage parts inventory and distribution in Mississauga, Ontario. The Parts Associate will report to the Parts Manager/Production Supervisor and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of parts and materials to support production goals. This role involves a blend of inventory management, parts distribution, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Quote, order, receive, organize, and store incoming parts and materials.
  • Track inventory levels and perform regular stock checks.
  • Deliver parts to production lines, operating vehicles and forklifts.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing parts.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure proper storage of hazardous materials.
  • Collaborate with teams to address parts shortages and report inventory discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of a G2 Driver’s License (valid in Ontario).
  • Clean driver’s abstract and criminal background check.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Ability to commute to Mississauga, Ontario.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
