HVAC Technician

Job Description

Cresco Labs is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Mechanical Technician for their Indiantown, FL location. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration systems, and other indoor air quality systems. This role involves performing emergency repairs, calibrating systems, and replacing components.

The HVAC Technician will collaborate with the Maintenance Manager on parts ordering, ensuring equipment operates efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

Role Involves:

• Installing, inspecting, and testing HVAC systems and components.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
• Performing routine maintenance on systems.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ensuring systems comply with regulations and safety standards.
• Recording service and maintenance reports.
• Communicating with site leadership.
• Assisting with energy efficiency improvements.
• Responding to emergency service calls.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or HVAC certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC service or installation; 2–5 years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various HVAC systems, electrical components, and mechanical operations.
• EPA Section 608 Certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Ability to perform pipe repair skills such as soldering and brazing.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
