iCapital is seeking an Internal Alternative Investment Sales Specialist to support a distribution partnership with a major wealth management client. This role involves working with advisors, bankers, investment counselors, and third-party managers to increase alternative investment adoption.
Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary contact for sales and service inquiries.
- Generate alternative investment product sales with an external sales partner.
- Promote the adoption of alternative investment offerings.
- Travel to meet clients and attend conferences.
- Collaborate on new fund launches.
- Partner with asset management firms to raise capital.
- Maintain CRM records.
Qualifications: - 5+ years in the alternative investment industry.
- Experience in a client-facing role.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and real assets.
- CFA and CAIA designations preferred.
- Must obtain CAIA within 3 years of hire.
- Series 7 & 63 licenses required.
