Job Description
iCapital is seeking an Internal Alternative Investment Sales Specialist to support a distribution partnership with a major wealth management client. This role involves working with advisors, bankers, investment counselors, and third-party managers to increase alternative investment adoption.Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for sales and service inquiries.
  • Generate alternative investment product sales with an external sales partner.
  • Promote the adoption of alternative investment offerings.
  • Travel to meet clients and attend conferences.
  • Collaborate on new fund launches.
  • Partner with asset management firms to raise capital.
  • Maintain CRM records.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in the alternative investment industry.
  • Experience in a client-facing role.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and real assets.
  • CFA and CAIA designations preferred.
  • Must obtain CAIA within 3 years of hire.
  • Series 7 & 63 licenses required.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range: $85,000 - $125,000.
