Job Description
iCapital is seeking an Alternative Investment Specialist to join their team in a distribution partnership with a major wealth management client. This role is responsible for growing alternative investment adoption by working with advisors, bankers, investment counselors, and specialists. The Alternative Investment Specialist will report to the regional team lead for North America and Latin America.Responsibilities include:
- Generating alternative investment product sales.
- Promoting adoption of offerings across the client’s wealth platform.
- Meeting with clients and prospects and attending conferences and events.
- Working with the client’s Alternative Investments team on new fund launches.
- Partnering with asset management partners to raise capital for offerings.
- Maintaining CRM with activity, advisor profiles, and pipeline capture.
Qualifications include:
- 10+ years of experience in the alternative investments industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to sell and support a diverse platform of hedge fund, private equity, private credit, and real asset offerings.
- CFA and CAIA charter holders are preferred.
- CAIA within 3 years of hire is required.
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses are required.
