iCapital is seeking an Alternative Investment Specialist to lead the APAC team for a distribution partnership with a large wealth management client. This role, reporting to both the Head of Client Solutions APAC and the Head of Alternative Investments Distribution, focuses on expanding alternative investment adoption among advisors. The individual will work with advisors, relationship managers, investment consultants, product specialists and 3rd party asset managers to grow alternative investment adoption.
Responsibilities: - Generate alternative investment product sales leads.
- Promote adoption of alternative investments through educational seminars and meetings.
- Provide feedback on market trends to support product launches and marketing strategy.
- Collaborate on new fund launches, including organizing product launch calls and client events.
- Offer advice on fundraising strategy to 3rd party asset management partners.
- Maintain CRM usage.
Requirements: - 15+ years of experience in the alternative investment industry.
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and their advisors.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Preference for CFA and/or CAIA designation.
- Good knowledge of securities laws and regulations.
- Fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese strongly preferred.
