Job Description
iCapital is seeking an Alternative Investment Specialist to join their team. This role involves working with a major wealth management client's advisors and third-party managers to increase the adoption of alternative investments. The Alternative Investment Specialist will report to the regional team lead for North America and Latin America.Responsibilities include:
- Generating alternative investment product sales.
- Promoting adoption of offerings across the client’s wealth platform.
- Meeting with clients and prospects and attending conferences and events.
- Collaborating with the client’s Alternative Investments team on new fund launches.
- Working with asset management partners to raise capital for offerings.
- Maintaining CRM with activity, advisor profiles, and pipeline capture.
Qualifications include:
- 10+ years of experience in the alternative investment industry in a client-facing role.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to sell and support a diverse platform of hedge fund, private equity, private credit, and real asset offerings.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses are required.
- CFA and CAIA charter holders are preferred; CAIA must be obtained within 3 years of hire.

- A base salary range of $150,000 to $250,000.
