Job Description
iCapital is seeking a Senior Alternative Investment Specialist to lead the North America and Latin America team for a distribution partnership with a major wealth management client. This role reports to the Head of Alternative Investments Distribution at iCapital. The ideal candidate will drive alternative investment adoption by working with advisors, bankers, investment counselors, specialists, and third-party managers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of five.
- Generate alternative investment product sales.
- Promote adoption of offerings across our client’s wealth platform.
- Meet with clients and prospects, attending conferences and events.
- Work with the wealth client’s Alternative Investments team on new fund launches.
- Partner with asset management partners to raise capital for offerings.
- Maintain CRM with activity, advisor profiles, and pipeline capture.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in the alternative investment industry in a client-facing role.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to sell and support a diverse platform of hedge fund, private equity, private credit, and real asset offerings.
- CFA and CAIA charter holders are preferred.
- Must obtain CAIA within 3 years of hire.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses are required.
