Job Description
Jencap is seeking an Associate Broker to manage and grow a casualty book of business in their NYC office. The Associate Broker will act as an Account Executive, building client relationships and ensuring responsiveness.Role involves:
  • Developing proposals.
  • Facilitating sales and related processes.
  • Negotiating production goals.
  • Prospecting through various channels.
  • Securing information and presenting proposals.
  • Coordinating new and renewal business.
  • Documenting interactions in electronic files.
  • Assisting with accounting, claims, and marketing issues.
  • Maintaining and servicing accounts.
  • Performing service calls.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience supporting a Specialty Insurance business line.
  • Knowledge of insurance carriers.
  • Ability to develop business solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Maintain state-issued P&C and E&S licenses.
