Job Description
Demandbase is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join their DB1S team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced agile environment, contributing to key company initiatives. The Senior Engineering Manager will provide technical leadership, make technical decisions, and coordinate with customers. They will be accountable for project execution, working cross-functionally with technology development and business teams to deliver high-quality products on time. Role involves:- Leading teams to deliver key initiatives and advance technology and product roadmaps.
- Providing deep technical leadership and making technical decisions.
- Driving project execution and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Defining future products and enhancements with product managers.
- Leading, mentoring, motivating, and working with a geographically distributed team.
- Managing individual goals, performance, and employee development.
- Ensuring the right culture, processes, and technology investments are in place.
- Running and improving an agile/rapid development process.
- Providing regular communications on KPI results and project progress.
- 12+ years of experience in building large-scale enterprise solutions as a technical leader.
- 4+ years of engineering management and Agile development experience.
- Hands-on leader with experience in software architecture and design.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Proficient in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with observability tools and CI/CD practices.
- Solid understanding of product development processes.
- Good understanding of large-scale distributed systems on AWS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in AdTech, MarTech, SalesTech, or digital marketing is a plus.
