Job Description
The Senior Associate, Digital Activation role at Critical Mass involves developing and activating digital recommendations to meet client goals. The candidate will be a digital native, curious about emerging opportunities, and able to provide recommendations based on campaign performance. They will contribute to the planning process, manage internal stakeholders, and handle day-to-day client management.

Role involves:
  • Coordinating and overseeing the management, trafficking, optimization, and reporting of paid social and digital campaign initiatives.
  • Managing media campaigns from end-to-end, working with internal teams, measurement partners, and clients.
  • Integrating with Creative, Marketing Science, and Strategy teams to develop cohesive paid media strategies.
  • Managing the billing team and providing final approval on all billing needs.
  • Preparing new information for paid tactical media plans and evaluating vendor proposals.
  • Leading the development of Point of View documents on industry trends.
  • Maintaining relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Serving as a point of contact for problem escalation.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital activation, executing and optimizing campaigns across paid social, programmatic, search, and video platforms.
  • Agency experience is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Paid Social execution (Meta, LinkedIn).
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and understanding of the digital media landscape.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and campaign optimizations.
  • Proficiency in research, audience planning, and developing social media plans.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to client leadership.
  • Experience with media trafficking for digital advertising campaigns.
  • Proficiency in reporting and analytics.
  • Familiarity with media industry tools such as MediaOcean (Prisma), IAS or DoubleVerify, MRI, Comscore, or similar.
