Job Description
Critical Mass is seeking an Intermediate QA Specialist to ensure QA standards and client satisfaction. The QA Specialist will report to the QA Lead and collaborate with various teams to maintain project quality.

Role involves:
  • Being co-responsible for project quality.
  • Attending meetings, providing status updates, and offering feedback.
  • Communicating test results and risks to project teams.
  • Identifying test data and creating test plans.
  • Writing and maintaining test cases and scripts.
  • Creating traceability matrix and checklist documentation.
  • Performing functional and non-functional testing.
  • Creating defect tickets and tracking issues to resolution.
  • Supporting team onboarding and providing QA estimations.

Requirements:
  • English Proficiency (B2+ reading, writing, and conversation)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance (Web development experience is a plus)
  • Expertise in reviewing HTML and inline CSS code
  • Proofreading/copy editing experience
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies for software development
  • Experience working with local and offshore teams
  • Experience in task management and defect tracking tools like Jira and/or similar
  • Proficiency in key hardware and software, including iOS and Android mobile devices, Mac and Windows desktop platforms, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Jira and content management systems
  • Experience testing marketing emails for content, functionality and rendering a plus
  • Experience with scripting/automation (e.g., Selenium) is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
