Staff Full Stack Engineer

Aetion, a global leader in science-driven technology, is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to join their applications team in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will contribute to all parts of the software development lifecycle, from design to operations, and collaborate with product and science teams to enhance the platform's scalability and reliability.Role involves:

• Enriching rapid-cycle full-stack analytic applications.
• Developing and documenting high-performance, scalable software solutions.
• Addressing issues, identifying technical debt, and leading cross-cutting initiatives.
• Implementing automated tests and improving code coverage.
• Providing insights on technology advancements for scalability and reliability.
• Mentoring and guiding less senior engineers.
• Collaborating with product, design, and science teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of proven developer experience with TypeScript and ideally some Java / OOP experience.
• Understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar.
• Agile Methodology experience leveraging CI/CD.
• Experience with big datasets.
