Appian is seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Communications for a 9-12 month maternity cover contract. This role is crucial for executing external communications and public relations as part of integrated global marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will drive brand awareness and thought leadership across the region for lead conversion.

The Senior Manager will work with PR agencies in the US, EMEA, and Australia to amplify global messaging. They will manage media relations, thought leadership, and executive visibility, alongside strategic social media campaign execution. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and direct access to the marketing leadership team.

Role Involves:

  • Executing a strategic PR plan aligned with business goals.
  • Managing external PR agencies.
  • Creating and amplifying the company’s voice across channels.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify content opportunities.
  • Creating press coverage reports.
  • Evolving the company’s social media strategy.
  • Creating content calendars and social media posts.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in B2B marketing communications.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Work Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Cultural awareness of key markets and cultures.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
