Job Description
Axon is seeking a Sr Director, Global Supplier Quality. This role involves developing and executing a Supplier Quality Management strategy to ensure the high performance of Axon’s supply chain. The Sr Director will evaluate and select new suppliers, monitor supplier performance, mitigate risks in manufacturing processes, and drive corrective and prevention actions. They will represent the voice of the customer to supply chain partners and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Product Management teams.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical engineering
  • CMQ/OE, CQE certified
  • 10-15 years’ combined experience in Supplier Quality/Development or Quality function on complex electromechanical systems
  • Minimum 7-10 years’ experience of people management
  • Experience managing domestic and overseas suppliers and 3rd party contract manufacturers
  • Knowledge of the product life cycle process
  • Skilled with root cause analysis tools and problem-solving methods
  • Knowledge and experience with APQP concepts and methodologies
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of applications and statistical analysis and tools, such as Minitab
